The Moles Family
Greetings from the beautiful mountains of central West Virginia! Thanks for coming by and checking us out! If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to drop us a note!

As you can see, the Moles family loves our animals, each and every one. They are each a special pet in their own way! As breeders, it is our goal to raise each baby (calf, puppy, rabbit kit, etc.) with as much love and care as possible. The health and happiness of each animal is of utmost importance. We plan each new litter or calf, spacing them out so as to give the mothers the time they need to not only recover from the last litter, but also time to just be a happy, carefree dog.

All of our puppies are born and raised in the house for as long as possible. They are mainly under Maria's supervision, but handled and cared for by each member in the family on a daily basis. Our dogs and puppies are well socialized around people - including children, as well as cats!

Kennels are, for now, a necessity for us. We are planning a huge dog barn with outdoor runs to replace them in the near future! We do not confine our dogs to a kennel for any length of time. Everybody gets a chance to run and play in the yard and fields on a daily basis, and alternate who gets to stay in the house! Even after the new barn is built, we will make sure the dogs have plenty of play time out in the yard! Currently, kennels are used mainly at night, when we're away, when there's a girl in heat, and to keep the three very dominant males separate!

Although it may seem like it at times, our life does not solely consist of breeding and raising animals! That is mainly Maria's job, besides being a wife, Mama of two boys, and independent Shaklee distributor. In her spare time, Maria enjoys studying homebirth midwifery and natural childbirth in hopes that one day she will be able to pursue her passion and become a homebirth midwife! Mike works around the farm of course, and does the big jobs that Maria can't do herself. He also has a job as an electrician/ HVAC technician, but recently started his own business -

All in all, our goal is to be good stewards of the wonderful animals God has blessed us with and to raise healthy, high quality, and well adjusted animals whether they are to be companions, or meat for your table.

We would like to dedicate this site, business, and lifestyle to our grandparents;
Delbert & Sylvia Moles, Windy & Ruth Jones, Wilbur & Luella Dye, O'dell & Nellie Farley.
Thank you so much for passing on your ways of life, love for animals, and the land. We love you! Without you, Meadow Branch Farms would not be possible.
